I’m sure many of you have already heard about the upcoming Suspension Mecca event near Omaha, Nebraska. This suscon, put together by Disgraceland Entertainment and hosted by HOOKED Suspension Team, will be held August 31 – September 3rd at the Mid America Event Center. This facility will provide 25,000 square feet of space for the suscon to be held, as well as being connected to the hotel where the room block has been reserved. The weekend will include classes for practitioners and aspiring practitioners, live suspensions, and an after party to celebrate Mike Coons‘ 40th birthday with entertainment provided by the Headmaster of Pain, Havve Fjell along with Nassau Chainsaw DisGraceLand Demolition Committee, and Whut?. It should be a fun weekend for everyone who attends, so make sure to get registered early! Registration fees will be $150 per person, and are not due when you sign up. Also, for those of you not necessarily involved with suspension, this is an event open to the public, which means whether you are just curious, wanting to learn more about suspension, or an established practitioner, you are welcome to join in on the good times. I can’t wait to see everyone there!

Additional details from the event organizers:  “We know that these rooms are more expensive, but the fact that the hotel is connected to the event and they are allowing us to use other space there for food and eating space is why we went with them. Now that being said, there are plenty of less expensive hotels within WALKING DISTANCE (ie. less than one mile) as well as numerous restaurants and even a major Casino (The Horseshoe).”
